LETTER FROM THE BOARD

Dear Subscribers: Happy New Year! We at Living Truth are excited for 2009. Our ministries are growing and we are looking to increase our local outreach. As we look forward to the year ahead, we would like you to consider supporting Living Truth. We have grown tremendously over the past year and we continue to need your prayers and support as we move ahead.   I have stepped in as interim president to allow Cheryl to focus on her growing discipleship and counseling ministry. I will also be maintaining the website, the newsletters for Living Truth, and the ministries we support, as well as working alongside Aubri to continue to help Living Truth grow locally and globally.   Please take some time to read through our monthly newsletter and prayerfully consider ways you can impact the world for Christ by supporting Living Truth.  Whether you support our local ministries, or our global ministries, you can make an impact with a regular donation.    Sincerely, Elana KansonPresidentLiving Truth Ministries

HELP LIVING TRUTH TODAY!

ABOVE AND BEYOND

ablogo.jpg January always seems a little bleak after Christmas, but I like the quiet; it gives me time to think.

There has been a lot going on at Above and Beyond. January is always a good time to stop and assess goals and retool for the New Year. We now have about 40 ministries that are receiving our Bible Study and podcast each week. We have picked up a few churches in the U.K., Netherlands, and a few more in Africa and Pakistan.

I have been asked to work with Messiah Tube in the Netherlands promoting the content I have on some social sites. Additionally, a publisher has written asking about a topic for a book.

Speaking of books, we will be launching our first devotional in February. The proceeds of all books purchased on the Living Truth site will go to the Living Truth Ministries, so you can get your donations and devotionals together.

The counseling ministry is growing. We have had referrals online through several networking sites and through contacts in other areas. We are always open to talking to people online, via the phone or in person (locally).

Keep in mind that we do speaking engagements, so if you know of anyone looking for a speaker for an event let us know.

I am always blessed to receive emails from people who are enjoying our ministry. I will close with one from Africa.

DEAR CHERYL.
IT IS WITH GREAT JOY TODAY TO WRITE TO YOU. HOPE YOU ARE DOING WELL.THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE STUDY YOU ARE SENDING TO US. IT IS A BLESSING TO US AND NOT ONLY TO US, BUT TO MANY THAT ARE STUDYING.
GOD BLESS YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT GOOD WORK THAT YOU ARE DOING IN THE KINGDOM.WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH PRAYING FOR YOU DAILY.

BEACON OF HOPE INTERNATIONAL

As the New Year begins, we pray that God will bless all of "HIS" Ministries.  We at Living Truth are searching for organizations that would be willing and able to
contribute to the help of these ministries in becoming more self-sufficient. They  are more than willing to do what they need to in order to be able to support themselves.
The widows can sew but need sewing machines. They can create all kinds of crafts to sell, but they need materials to get them started. Most of them are struggling just for food. Please pray for these people. Pray that God would supply their needs, and that He would open doors for them that would be an encouragement and a source of help.

India is a very hostile place especially for Christians. These pastors are doing the Lord's work under very stressful situations and need our prayers and support. If anyone is interested in praying for the ministries of Beacon of Hope Int'l, please contact beth@livingtruth.us. She will give the names and needs that you can pray for.

On Christmas Eve, Mary Women's Ministry distributed much needed clothing to the
widows of her ministry. They were very grateful and thankful to Living Truth for their
generosity in donating money for the clothes.
